Job Ready
Job Ready gives 16 - 17 year olds (up to 22 years for those with disabilities) the information, advice and guidance that they need to make decisions about their future career. A key programme objective is to ensure that young people in Northern Ireland have the tools and confidence required to enable them to find sustainable employment.
It's about ensuring that young people are truly Job Ready so this element of Training for Success focuses on delivering support tailored to the needs of each individual ensuring they can access the extra learning and skills they need. The following are some examples of what Job Ready may comprise:

Interview skills
Motivation
Health & Safety
Basic First Aid
Information Communication Technology
Life and Work Skills
Basic Food Hygiene
In addition, work placements and job tasters will be made available to help young people decide if a certain job is the right one for them.
