Pathways to Work - Lone Parents

 
Pathways to Work - Lone Parents is is a pilot Work Preparation Programme delivered by our Limavady Team on behalf of the Department for Employment and Learning in Limavady, Co. Londonderry. It is a programme of skills and employment training that ensures lone parents have the best possible chance of returning to work.

The programme includes a range of measures that will address the specific barriers to work that each lone parent will face, these will include a 12 week Work Preparation Programme that will focus on occupational decision making, as well as job finding and keeping behaviours. There will also be financial incentives available to support the process of returning to work.

A4e has developed a strong programme that also sees local voluntary/community organisations providing support services to complement the skills, motivational and employment training that A4e is delivering. A4e is also delighted to have built a strong relationship with the local Jobs and Benefit office in Limavady.
